We asked Marije Karsten, Sales Manager Events at Bilderberg.

Translating a client's wishes into a fitting and surprising event starts with listening carefully to the wishes and goals’ says Marije. What feeling do you want to give your guests? When is an event successful? The goal of the meeting is our starting point.

Marije: 'By adding the right elements, a castle event becomes truly magical. Beautiful lit trees along the driveway, flickering braziers for a warm welcome, a musician playing warm tones of music. The first impression and experience are decisive. It has to be spot on. We go to extremes for a WOW effect.'

Kasteel Vaalsbroek is situated on an 18-hectare estate close to the Drielandenpunt, Maastricht and Aachen. Surrounded by the countryside, here it feels like abroad. Another special Bilderberg location is Kasteel Doorwerth in Gelderland with its characteristic moat. Entering the courtyard of this fairytale castle via the drawbridge gives you an immediate sense of majesty.
