Receiving & comparing proposals

Step by step guide to compare proposals.

Venues always respond online with their proposal in a uniform summary in PDF. You will receive an email notification with a link to the quote.
When you have requested multiple venues, it is possible to compare multiple proposals quickly and easily at a glance.

Compare proposals

Go to my Requests in the menu, select "Pending Proposals" and select the RFP line, click on 'view proposals' to view the quotes from the venues, who have responded with a proposal to your request.

In the Meetingselect's platform there is a great functionality:
"Compare Quotes"

Select the desired venues and click on "Compare”.
In the comparison overview, you can easily place multiple quotes side by side and compare them on content and price.

Weblink to compare venues

Next to the " Compare" button you have the "Weblink to compare venues" button. This allows you to forward the URL (web link) with the convenient comparison overview to a colleague or manager. You can easily copy this web link into an email and forward it to a colleague or manager, who does not need to be logged into the Meetingselect platform to view this comparison overview.

Export to Excel 

The comparison overview offers the possibility to print or to export the comparison overview to Excel. son overview to Excel. Click on Export to export the file.

From this Excel file you can easily see in the second tab which venues have been requested and what the status is.

The comparison view includes the score of the venue's review, the direct contact information of the person at the venue who is handling your RFP, as well as, for each individual quote, whether an option has been placed and until when the option is valid.

In addition, in the comparison overview you will find a link to each individual quote with its contents, details and descriptions and photos.

From the comparison view, you can also see any chat history you may have with the venue. 
Under the name of the venue you will see "Chat". If you click on it you will see the chat history.
